It is important that dancers come to every class on time, be dressed appropriately, and most importantly, be ready to dance with all their hearts.

Due on the first of each month (September through June)
- Monthly tuition is based on a 10 month calendar. Some months may have 5 weeks and some may have 4 weeks, but over the course of the 10 months it events out. This is why we do not prorate the tuition on shorter months (or charge more on longer months).
- After the 5th business day of the month, a late fee of $10 will be charged to the student’s account.
- A late notice will be sent on the 6th business day of the month. If no payment is received, interest of 15% per year will be charged until the balance is paid in full.
- Students’ accounts must be current to participate in class and/or the recital.
- A $25 returned check fee will be charged to accounts. These checks must be redeemed with cash or a money order.
- Tuition fees are not adjusted for classes missed due to holidays, vacations, illness, etc. Students are encouraged to attend other classes to make up any time missed.
- Pay using Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, or Discover®.
- Written notice must be given and accepted by the office one month in advance for any student to withdraw from classes.
- If a student decides to discontinue class at the end of the month, the following month's tuition is still due even if the child does not attend class.
- Accounts will be charged for the months when notice has not been given.
- Students are expected to come to class in proper attire set out in the Dress Code.
- Hair is to be secured in a ponytail or a bun. Fly-away hair should be controlled as well.
- Students are expected to arrive on time, attend every class, and remain until the end of class.
- We understand that emergencies occur; please notify us if your student will arrive late or if there is an emergency that may delay or interrupt class attendance.
- Gum, food, and beverages are not allowed in the studio. Water is permitted.
For all classes, dancers are allowed to wear any color or pattern of leotards.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we offer a free trial class for all new students. Please contact us to schedule your trial class.
Yes, we offer a sibling discount as well as discounts for students who take multiple classes.
Students must come prepared for class in the proper dress and shoe attire needed for each class. Hair should be pulled back from face and secure at all times. (See dress code for specifics.) Students should also arrive for their class on time.
Please call the studio at 757-313-6728 to inform the teacher of an absence or if you will be arriving late.
There is NO GUM allowed in the dance studio. Also, no eating or drinking is permitted in studios other than water. Please be sure your child’s name is written on all dance shoes and they are brought to class in a bag that they will recognize as their own.
Ballet/Tap combination classes (3-5 years old): Students should wear any color leotard, ballet pink footed tights, pink leather ballet shoes and tan buckle tap shoes.
Ballet: Students should wear any color leotard, ballet pink footed tights, and pink ballet shoes. Ballet skirts are also permitted. Hair should be pulled back away from face and neck preferably in a bun.
Jazz: Students should wear any color leotard, tights and black lace up or slip on jazz shoes. Jazz pants that are not loose fitting or jazz shorts are also permitted. Hair should be pulled back away from face.
Tap: Students should wear the same attire as jazz. Children in half-hour/45 min tap classes should wear tan buckle tap shoes. Students taking one hour tap classes should wear black lace up or slip on tap shoes. Hair should be pulled back away from face.
Modern: Students should wear any color leotard and footless or convertible tights. Jazz shorts or cut offs are permitted. Footundeez are allowed, however not required. Wearing no shoes is highly recommended.
Hip Hop: Students should wear any color leotard and tights. Other shirts and shorts/pants may be permitted depending on the teacher. Black jazz sneakers or shoes are required.
Yes, you can purchase dance apparel, tights, and shoes from the studio.
